Join us in celebrating farm

You heard that right! Let’s celebrate everyone who takes on farming every single day, whether that be gardening, planting the crops, harvesting, feeding the animals, basic farm chores, egg collecting, maintenance, building, food preservation and me oh my, that list could go on and on… I mean we all know having a farm isn’t easy…. and Geesh that’s a lot of work… but we love it, don’t you?

When I say farm, I’m not talking about tons of acreage, I’m talking about raising livestock or our feathery friends, gardening to provide for the family, planting crops, being self sustainable and all those other fun things. Farming or homesteading can be done rurally too even on a small plot of land. There’s never a spot too small unless you want herds of animals, then having more land is feasible especially when your animals decide to have babies.

How big is your farm or homestead? Let us know in the comments.

TheFarmGal is a mom of 3, nana to 8. I live off grid on my 10 acre farm with goats, chickens, cats and dogs. I enjoy gardening, building, repurposing, bargain hunting, playing with the animals and just figuring out ways to make things better. I love building stalls, pens and growing my garden to help sustain my homestead and goats (wink). I am so glad to be here, let's connect and be friends!
